Help to returning player

Hi guys! I just installed gta after a 3 year break! Everything looks so new and I lost myself in new features. Can you please briefly write the main features that I missed over the last three years??? PS. I stopped when I had a bike club and a mobile operations truck and a bunker. PPS. Casino doesn’t work because of my location which is Cyprus and I’ve read playing features would not be available here

Best topcashback and quidco deposit offers right now - £81 deposited total for a minimum of £200 out.

Hey guys, thought I'd wait a day to get all of the above tracked before I made a post, would hate to post and then it not work out.
In Chazmer's brilliant post he covers a lot of deposit offers, but the ones I'm going to list are ones that he hasn't mentioned, of that for a limeted time the payout is increased quite some way.
Topcashback Link | Non
Quidco Link | Non
I'm pretty sure everyone has a topcashback and quidco account but hey there you go if you don't.
Before we start, never ever accept sign up bonuses as a general rule on these sites. They will always void your cashback (and are normally shite anyways).
Links from here and on are all non ref links to the offer pages.

Betfair

Website: Topcashback
Deposit: £50
Cashback: £100
Payout time: 7 weeks
My total returns: £142
My total profit: £92
Points of note:
You need a new account and to deposit and wager £50. After depositing £50 and wagering it all, I had won £43 in total from the slots. £50 is a lot of money to have a bit of fun gambling with, and when you get to keep everything you win it's even better.
There are other offers available (deposit £10 for £20 cashback for example) but why not opt for the biggest one (you can only accept one offer as your betfair account covers all of the different factions; casino, sportsbook etc).

Gala Bingo

Website: Quidco
Deposit: £10
Cashback: £50
Payout time: 4 months
My total returns: £52
My total profit: £42
Points of note:
The offer states that you have to deposit and wager £5 for the £50 cashback, however I did that last night and it didn't track. I was looking through the reviews and others said they had to deposit a tenner for it to track. So I deposited another £5, wagered it, came away with £2 and the cashback had tracked by the time I had finished. I don't know if I had to wager the second £5 but I did anyways.
Once again, new accounts only.

Paddy Power

Website: Topcashback
Deposit: £10
Cashback: £20
Payout time: 2 weeks!!!
My total returns: £28
My total profit: £18
Points of note:
New account, deposit and wager £10 you know the drill. Instead of PP Casino you could go for PP Games where you bet more traditionally, but in the name of quickness I just went for the casino. You can only do one or the other.
With PaddyPower, after I spent the tenner I had £4 in winnings that I withdrew when it offered me 60 free spins if i confirm my mobile number. You are OK to accept these spins and still be rewarded with your cashback, and they earned me another £4 :).

Football Index

Website: Topcashback
Deposit: £10 (technically £20, see below)
Cashback: £20
Payout time: 5 weeks
My total returns: £29.50
My total profit: £19.50
Points of note:
New account, deposit and wager £10 etc. Football index is something where you buy shares in a footballer and then profit (or lose) based on their performance irl. It's quite a cool thing. You can buy and sell the players right away, and then cash out. The only issue is that minimum withdrawal is £10 and you'll probably have like £9.50 left when you've bought and sold the shares in players. So, deposit a tenner, spend it (it takes some working out to make the purchases exactly a tenner, I went for 8 99p shares and 2 104p shares), sell the shares, deposit another tenner, and then withdraw the £19.50 or whatever is in there.
Sorted.

Lottoland

Website: Topcashback
Deposit: £1
Cashback: £7.07
Payout time: 7 weeks
My total returns: £7.07
My total profit: £6.07
Points of note:
New account deposit and wager the £1. I actually did this a few weeks ago when the reward was £8 for a £1 deposit, but still 700% returns on a £1 deposit is pretty rare. Not much to say really, easy few quid.
Total deposit: £81
Total guaranteed cashback: £197.07
My total returns: £258.57
My profit: £177.57
I would reccomend you save the gambling sections of topcashback and quidco sorted by highest cashback and check it every week as it's probably the easiest way to make a few quid and its always good fun when you're gambling with money you're guaranteed to get back and any winnings are guaranteed profit. The best offers are only ever up for a week or so, and in some cases even less.
If you want to see my previous post about earning around £100 per month with a few hours invested here it is.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to ask any questions :)

Stock Market News Today | APHA & TLRY Merge | APPLE Rises | Stimulus & FED Meeting Today [12-16]

What is the latest news in the stock market? Aphria is merging with Tilray while the stimulus may be agreed on today after the latest developments. Also, the FED starts its 2-day meeting, let’s talk about this and everything happening in the stock market
~Very Long Post~
Hello everyone and Good Morning! So, let’s start with the recap of yesterday as we see a great day for the stock market, the best in December actually, as a one-two punch of stimulus and vaccine data helped the rally, with the broad market SP500 finishing up 1.29%, the Nasdaq Composite 1.25% and the Dow Industrial 1.13%. We also saw the VIX dropping more than 7% from the recent highs, as it was nearing the 25 levels which would imply more volatility ahead for the stock market.
We saw ¾ of the companies gaining yesterday on decent volume, with 145 new highs, as all 11 sectors finished in the green, with Utilities and Energy leading the way up almost 2%, while just 2 sectors gained less than 1% for the day, the Communications sector and the consumer staples. This rally was pushed by almost every type of company, especially small and mid-caps, as large-caps lagged a bit and were pretty much flat for the day, with the exception of Apple as you can see in this HEAT MAP, as I said in a previous post, I believe that Apple is ready for takeoff after more and more reports of great numbers in the new iPhone 12 lineup sales, and with the Fitness+ service launching this Monday this keeps increasing the number of services that Apple offers. I believe that the Apple One bundle will be a great revenue stream for them alongside the move to the 5G in the next years.
So here is the economic calendar for today as we start off early in the morning with MBA mortgage applications, followed but retail sales, PMI, inventories and finish up with the last meeting and decisions from the FED in 2020.
We also received news that as soon as the FDA & CDC give approval, which could and probably will happen as soon as this weekend, Moderna will be able to ship over 6M doses right away, more than double what Pfizer delivered in the initial shipment.
This is happening while the stimulus appears closer than ever, but it should be noted that it does appear it will not include any stimulus checks for citizens. As the Congress seems to be targeting a $750B relief package. This is very needed as the savings, especially for low-income households, has been substantially on the declin since May, just like always, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
This measures from the Government have been unexpectedly just been called upon from Warren Buffett also, as he emphasized that small businesses have become collateral damage, though he previously said he wouldn’t speak in public about this until May, the degrading situation probably made him change his mind.
We will also have the FED starting its meetings today, and follow up tomorrow, with most analysts expecting the FED to lay out the plans for additional asset purchases to provide additional support for the economy. And even if this is a temporary measure, it would be great for the economy if they keep this program going until the vaccine is more widely available and the reopening can come back in full force.
Yesterday we also got numbers on the Industrial Production, which beat the consensus with a .4% increase M/M while capacity utilization also increased with the manufacturing output way better than expected. This was led especially by motor vehicle and parts sales which were up 5.3%.
So, with some good news in the last period, a recent survey showed that fewer respondents believe that stocks are overpriced or overvalued right now. I think this is a fair opinion, as we have gone through a period of consolidation since the beginning of November, stocks have become more stable, some have lost ground, some have gained. This is very healthy for the broad stock market and may eventually start a new bull run very soon.
On some other stock market news, we saw the whole green energy sector getting a big boost yesterday, as the US Congress seems to have agreed to a package of tax incentives and extensions for both wind and solar projects. Some of the biggest gainers yesterday were SunPower, Enphase, SolarEdge, with most of the companies from the INVESCO Solar ETF trading way higher. As we also saw PENN national gaining yesterday after giving great news again to investors, as they have acquired a new casino in Maryland as they keep expanding their nationwide footprint.
Meanwhile, we will get Lennar Q4 earnings today after the close, and I expect them to have a great quarter, but this hasn’t helped many companies this quarter, as even great earnings results haven’t pushed most companies to have big gains, I think Lennar will post a terrific quarter as a result of the continuing strong housing market as more and more people flee big cities attracted by better tax implications while they also run from the growing poverty in states like California.
Some good news also came from the Eurozone this morning, as the PMI popped up to 49.8 which is still a contraction for the economy, but that is an improving view of the economy overseas, up from 45.3 in November.
We also have to keep an eye on what ABNB and Doordash will do, as investors are starting to get the chance to short this highly valued IPOs. So, this might hit the stocks even more after they have suffered in the last days as I expected.
And one last bit of news, Aphria is merging with Tilray, they will become an almost $4B market cap cannabis player, as they seek to also move to the US and grow its market share in the country, as the full legalizing of cannabis in the US seems to be approaching. This will help both companies to be able to have low-cost, state of the art cultivations alongside improved processing and manufacturing facilities. This will also position them for a better footprint in the EU, with Aphria having a footprint in Germany, while Tilray has a low-cost production facility in Portugal.
I think the pot and clean energy sectors alongside the EVs are the ones to watch in the next years.
Let’s hope for another great day in the market as the FUTURES seem to be pointing at a good open, hopefully some green action continues after that.
Thank you everyone for reading! Hope you enjoyed the content! Be sure to leave a comment down below with your opinion on the stock market!
Have a great day and see you next time!

Hotels & Resorts stocks are overpriced as fuck and the market hasn't realized it yet - $MGM 58k YOLO

Hotels & Resorts stocks are overpriced as fuck and the market hasn't realized it yet - $MGM 58k YOLO
In fact, most of the boomer stocks are overpriced right now due to the recent PFE and MRNA's vaccine news, but hotels & resorts stocks ($MGM, $MAR, $HLT) are the most inflated out of them all and will soon be given a reality check.
This is just my speculation but I believe the public is overly optimistic about vaccines and how the subsequent distribution and logistics will pan out. I'll keep my DD short and sweet.

The Race between the 4 Biotechs:

Pfizer (PFE):
  • 95% efficacy
  • 2 dose
  • 50 mill doses to be produced by the end of 2020
  • Must be kept at -70 degrees Celsius (-94 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Submitted to FDA for Emergency Use Approval (optimistic timeline for approval = end of 2020)
  • People with special licenses can administer the vaccine shots
Moderna (MRNA):
  • 94% efficacy
  • 1 dose
  • 20 mill doses to be produced by the end of 2020
  • Must be kept at -20 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Hasn't been submitted to FDA for EUA yet, but getting documentation prepared
  • People with special licenses can administer the vaccine shots
AstraZenenca (AZN):
  • Currently in Phase 3
  • Expected to release data by the end of 2020
Johnson&Johnson (JNJ):
  • Currently in Phase 3
  • Expected to release data in February 2021

Relative Pricing and Comparison

MGM Resort International (MGM):
  • -14% pps of pre-covid levels
  • Occupancy rate 44%
  • Revenue: -68% vs last LYQ3
  • Negative EPS
  • 25% employees terminated
Other Industry Leading Boomer Stocks
  • CCL (cruise) = -57% pps of pre-covid levels
  • AAL (airlines) = -54% pps of pre-covid levels

  • LVS (casino) = -18% pps of pre-covid levels
MGM is inflated compared to the other boomer stocks as it's very much near pre-covid levels.

Macro factors

A sub-premise of this post is that whatever brough MGM's stock price to what it is today was artificial and it isn't reflective of a healthy incline. The volume popped off per vaccine news, but now the volume has significantly dropped at the current levels. Buyer power is at its tipping point and a single bad news can easily trigger a large sell-off as the good news have now all been priced-in. But what will trigger the sell-off?

The Sell-off Triggers

  • The relief bill's benefits is all set to end on Dec 31 (this includes government bailouts). We were expected to make stimulus negotiations post-election, but both sides aren't looking to work with one another. Other analysts predict that productive negotiations will only resume once Biden is in office which is in January.
  • Rising COVID cases. US COVID cases hasn't yet peaked as we continue to set new hospitalization and case records every day.
  • Thanksgiving is cancelled, but maybe even Christmas and New Years celebrations, too. Hotels&Resorts are one of the greatest attractions during Christmas, but it seems like we're going to stay in lockdown.
  • Vaccine Distribution&Logistics issue. As mentioned, countries and states will continue to face big challenges in vaccine delivery. One logistic issue in the headlines can induce great amounts of fear triggering sell-offs.
Conclusion: In the short to medium term, there are no news that awaits for hotel&resort stocks that points bullish. The buyer power has peaked and now, they are headed for a big correction.

Chapter by Chapter Summary of Comprehensive Research on Discrimination Against Men in Finland (PhD Thesis)

What can you do as an MRA?

Main Body - Here it is:

This is a chapter-by-chapter summary of Discrimination Against Men: Appearance and Causes in the Context of a Modern Welfare State, a 2009 doctoral dissertation by Pasi Malmi (University of Lapland) that provides an impressively detailed and balanced investigation of discrimination against men in Finland (the theory and results actually give almost as much detail on discrimination against women, although men will be the focus here).
Chapters 5 to 8 are the most important. Chapter 5 explains six biases that cause gender discrimination, chapter 6 delineates the patriarchal and matriarchal subsystems of Finnish society, chapter 7 examines the various discourses that justify discrimination against men, and chapter 8 analyzes a database of gender discrimination complaints made to the Finnish gender equality ombudsman, a third of which were made by men.
(Length: 1,800 words.)
Chapters 1 to 4 (introductory/background chapters)
Chapter 1 situates the perspective taken by the dissertation within gender studies. It rejects anti-feminist and anti-women perspectives, and the glorification of traditional masculinity and gender roles (e.g., the mythopoetic men’s movement). But it also rejects the “critical studies of men” paradigm, which sees men as the main causes of men’s and women’s problems, refuses to criticize feminism or women, and does not believe that discrimination against white, heterosexual, middle-class men exists (pp. 20–21).
Chapter 2 defines various relevant concepts, and explains that the findings from Finland are intended to be relevant primarily for the Northern European welfare states, and secondarily for other European and Anglo-American countries (pp. 32–34).
Chapter 3 gives a brief overview of current or traditional viewpoints on what causes direct or indirect discrimination or mistreatment of men: gender roles, hegemonic masculinity, industrial capitalism, feminism (specifically gender feminism and victimization feminism), and exploitative women (pp. 36-44).
Chapter 4 develops a theory of sociocultural evolution, which says that ideas that are simple, exaggerated, and coherent with popular paradigms generally win out over their rivals, regardless of whether they are true or backed up by evidence. This happens due to functional selection (p. 57), unintentional biases (p. 63), and interest group bias (p. 71), among other factors (see summary, p. 115).
Chapter 5: Applying the Theory to Gender Discrimination (p. 118)
This chapter develops a general theory of gender discrimination, centered on a typology of six different biases that cause gender discrimination (p. 127).
The masculine bias and feminine bias are unintentional gender biases caused by the processes that simplify, exaggerate, and mutate people’s mental memes or ideas according to their gender (p. 127). For example, a person’s conception of domestic work or childcare will be centered on their own experiences or contributions, which are partly determined by their gender, and so they will often downplay/exclude the other gender’s contributions (e.g., yardwork vs. housework) (pp. 135–138). As a result of these biases, segregated groups and networks of men or women tend to have a masculine-biased or feminine-biased culture of values, priorities, concepts, words, stories, jokes, stereotypes and beliefs that can lead to practices that discriminate against the other gender (p. 120). For example, a group of female social workers might decide that women are better custodians of children and default to recommending custody to them (pp. 141–142).
The masculist bias and feminist bias come from interest groups, networks, or movements seeking to advance the status of men or women, respectively. Masculism and feminism have sexist and anti-sexist branches (p. 143). The modern sexist branch of feminism includes theories like feminist standpoint epistemology (which gives special status to women’s feelings and intuitions) and the feminist theory of social work (interests of women and children are synonymous, social workers should identify with their female customers). It also includes stereotypes that women are unselfish, peaceful, responsible, loving, hard working, while men are the opposite (pp. 149–152). The anti-sexist branch of feminism by definition is less hostile towards men as people, but it is not necessarily able or willing to accept men’s issues: “[i]n general, the idea of the discrimination of men is perceived as bizarre by feminists” (pp. 155–158). The sexist branch of masculism is discussed primarily in the context of religion (pp. 144–129). The anti-sexist branch of masculism has little power, although it is discussed as sometimes being the source of biased statistics downplaying women’s issues (pp. 152–155).
The alpha male bias and alpha female bias are the biases of high status (wealthy, powerful, attractive, etc.) members of each gender against low status members of their gender. They are particularly apparent in high status men’s bias against male criminals (male judges giving harsher treatment, including sentences, to them compared to women) and high status women’s bias against female prostitutes (pp. 170–173).
A central point of this dissertation is that male-dominated and female-dominated organizations (the patriarchal and matriarchal subsystems) are prone to predominantly discriminate against the other gender, but it’s important to clarify that they’re not guaranteed to do so. The masculine and feminine biases (the unintentional “own gender” biases) are just two of the six biases. An organization could be more influenced by the ideological biases (masculist and feminist biases) or the biases against low social status people of each gender (alpha male and alpha female biases).
Chapter 6: Locating the Patriarchal and Matriarchal Subsystems of the Finnish Society (p. 188)
This chapter identifies Finnish society’s patriarchal and matriarchal subsystems by looking at various measures of power, including raw numbers, managerial positions, control of knowledge, and informal positions of power (p. 222).
Not all areas of Finnish society fall into one of these subsystems.
Chapter 7: An Empirical Examination of the Memeplexes, Discourses and Coalitions that Induce Discrimination against Men (p. 224)
This chapter analyzes the discourses that justify discrimination against men, coming from sources that include sexism and feminism.
Sexism: The development of the modern misandric versions of sexism is examined, including 19th century views of men as “barbarians whose urges had to be leashed in by the forces of decency—meaning women—if civilization were to survive” (p. 233), which it attributes to the joint interests of women and upper class men. Notions of chivalry and macho masculinity also lead to institutionalized belief systems where men’s comfort, health, and even lives are considered less important than women’s (p. 238). Macho masculinity, with its aversion to men “complaining”, tends to oppose talking about men’s issues or seeing them as relevant for gender equality (p. 306).
Feminism: Certain influential varieties of feminism see women as the disadvantaged and discriminated gender (p. 247). Thus the sole purpose of equality policy is women’s advancement (p. 256) and men are largely reduced to the role of defendant (p. 270). When faced with cases requiring a choice between promotion of equality and empowerment of women, many feminists reacted by rejecting equality as outdated or as a smokescreen for promoting men’s interests over women. Under these discourses, “the empowerment of women is more important than the advancement of gender equality in all contexts, including the matriarchal subsystem of the society” (pp. 259–260). That would apply even to women’s advantage in family courts and criminal courts (p. 305).
Also mentioned is a combination (and mutation) of difference feminism and equality feminism which says that “women are superior to men in many ways, but men are not superior to women in any ways” (p. 296)—which means that when men are ahead it’s because of sexism, but when women are ahead it is legitimate and natural.
The groups and alliances that justify misandry and discrimination against men (p. 334):
📷
Chapter 8: Gender Discrimination, According to the Complaints Sent to the Finnish Equality Ombudsman (p. 346)
Complaints: This chapter analyzes 800 complaints of gender discrimination made between 1997 and 2004 and sent to the Finnish equality ombudsman (p. 348). Men were 33% of victims, according to the author’s suggestion for the best measure of actual discrimination in these cases (outcome types 3–5, p. 356). Labour market discrimination, the largest category, primarily involved women (76%), while the second largest category, discrimination against customers, primarily involved men (~60%).
Another category, discriminative legislation, primarily involved men (77%). Few complaints were made, but due to active conscription policies (lasting 5-12 months), almost all men in Finland are affected by discriminative legislation. The author classifies these complaints as discrimination, although the equality ombudsman does not, “as the Finnish equality law is not applicable to men’s obligatory military service” (p. 354).
Bias: Per chapter 6, equality policy itself is in the matriarchal subsystem of equality (e.g., 90% of employees in the equality ombudsman office are female, p. 354). The ombudsman has a policy not to comment on complaints involving custody and divorce, purportedly to not interfere with the court system, but the author suggests that it stems from a bias against men, perhaps due to prioritizing women’s status over equality or wanting to avoid a flood of complaints from men (p. 354). This is made more explicit by another comment from the ombudsman’s office saying that it is not taking action on certain cases of discrimination against men because “the main purpose of the equality law is to improve women’s status especially in the labor market”, suggesting that the law should be applied more strictly to cases of discrimination against women (p. 381).
Patriarchal & matriarchal subsystems: 57% of discrimination cases in the matriarchal subsystem of society (as defined in chapter 6) were against men, compared to 31% in neutral domains, and 17% in the patriarchal subsystem of society (p. 358).
Discrimination examples: Many cases of discrimination against women (e.g., a workplace that only required women to do extra cleaning tasks on top of their regular duties) are recounted on the same pages but we’ll look at men here.
Likely motives: Two alternative rating methods (tables 52 and 53) find that either (certain) feminist ideas are the most common motivators of discrimination against men, or sexism and the feminine bias are the most common motivators (feminine bias meaning unintentional gender bias of groups of women, counterpart to masculine bias of groups of men). Financial motives were also frequent (pp. 401-402).

Gamestop, technical DD on how this gaming cycle will blow the previous highs out of the water. The second coming of physical vs digital games.

I’m sure everyone read enough of how management is going to turn this around but no one spoke about how the gaming console itself is going to benefit Gamestop since they deal with a lot of physical/disc sales/resale.
I just want to talk about the second coming of Tesla that is Gamestop. I talk mostly about how Gamestop will boom with rise in physical game vs digital. What I talking about? I’m talking about the coming of 4k gaming. While you bitches are trying to just play the short squeeze for a price target of 50$ you are completely missing the bigger picture. We are going to easily go above the company’s all time record high made back in 2008 62.11$ without the squeeze when all said is done. (Don't forget our buddy Michael Burry managed to kill 1/3 of the outstanding shares through last years buyback) Edit: Also there's still another 101M in buy backs still not executed.
Back in 2012, anyone who was a gamer can tell you how big of a POS the console launches were because of one reason. The hardware were absolute trash, it was using AMD’s CPU/GPU and everyone complained because you’re paying a premium for low tier outdated PC parts. Intel cpu was what people wanted fitted with Nvidia graphic cards. You have 12 year olds rocking PCMR (PC MasterRace) logo everywhere making fun of peasants potato console. Look at AMD in 2012, it was trading at 2$. Company probably had Donald Trump at the helm making the calls running the company into the ground like his Casinos.
Anyways, this time is fucken different and even better than it was back in 2008. In 2008, cpu/gpu improvements were still doing fucken leaps and bounds year after year. The game consoles were outdated within a year or 2. In 2020, CPU/GPU improvements slowed to an absolute crawl and parts cost a fucken arm and a leg. Moores law hit a wall and getting 2x performance over last year was no longer possible and the cost for parts kept going up. You want the latest and greatest? That’ll cost you 2000$+ for PC gaming, hell no one is going to have that kind of money especially with this recession.
Now here comes PS5 and Xbox Series X, giving you the latest top of the fucken line gaming hardware for 600$. M$ and Sony is losing money on this like back in 2008, you will hear every fucken reviewer praise this and tell you go out and buy it. Everyone and their mom’s going to go buy new gaming console for their kids so they can fuck off while they have sex with her boyfriend in the other room.
How does any of this benefit Gamestop? Well with now the latest and greatest gaming console and top of the line hardware we will see an actual push for 4k gaming.
4k gaming to say the least is very hardware intensive and also takes up a fuck ton of storage space. What takes up a lot of storage space? 4k fucken texture packs for 4k gaming alone takes up +20gb of space. Yes that fucken storage space is going to be huge. The last generation we never had any real push for 4k gaming, fucken hell they mostly ran below 1080p to even be remotely playable at 30 FPS. You think people are going download entire games when it takes days or weeks to download with their dial up connections. No they will buy physical discs 9/10 times.
Moreover anyone who plays games on console will tell you 99% that they prefer disc over digital downloads because it cost the same as digital.
Lastly, we all know that with the new console release there is actually a lack of new games but that matters not. All games are backwards compatible, so where does Gamestop benefit from this? Well they are only the biggest used game reseller around the block. When people go to buy the new console they are going to go to Gamestop over Amazon or Bestbuy and buy used game to play when everyone goes back into lockdown. Everyone who was planning on spending 3000 on trips oversea will be buying games instead.

Anyone who says they are going to go like Blockbuster and point to the last 2 quarters is trying to shill you. Everyone knew that a new super gaming console cycle was coming, they were holding off on their purchases and been saving their pennies for this. The next quarter for Gamestop is going to be its biggest.
TL;DR
Big push for 4k gaming will result in large files downloads incentivizing people to choose physical discs over digital.
Positions. Shares and even more shares for now. After election IV Armageddon 01/15/21 30C or further out.
TL;DR x2 Also for everyone saying that Gamestop will go out of business. Here’s just a quick discussion on just simply why it makes sense for Microsoft/Sony to exist. https://youtu.be/8gEfHD_y7Pc?t=938
Gamestop will be their showroom, so it makes sense for Gamestop to thrive and not run them out of business. Amazon/Bestbuy/Walmart sure as hell aren’t going to advertise games for them since they aren’t a gaming retail store primarily.
PS. Bunch of hedge funds trolling GME to scare you out of positions so they can cover their shorts.
Edit. PPS. This is a post to argue against how people think games will go full digital and leave Gamestop to go bankrupt. The infrastructure isn't here as telecom companies still cockblock people into internet caps/speeds and most of the time simply won't expand their network because they don't make money doing it.

I have a problem

Hi, it's my first time writing a post on a forum so maybe I'm in the wrong place, apologize.
I am writing a bot and I need to read a number from the screen, I tried to use an OCR but I have a lot of problems with it because it does a lot of mistakes and of course it must be very precise. So I tried to read it from the HTML but I can't either. For more information the HTML page is a casino live page, so maybe there is something I don't understand about how they works.
PS. I'm new to Python, I'm a selflearner
PPS Sorry for my bad english.
I hope somebody can help me, wish you all the best and merry xmas!

Newb /w questions.

Hi, noobie here. Me and a few friends recently got into Elona+ (first 1.99, then 2.01 when we realised that came out. I battled between elona+C 1.9 and elona+2.01, because elona+C custom AI looks fucking awesome, and its really sad its not in 2.01 yet. But 2.01 has the full story, but ANYWAY unrelated.) and we're all seeing who can "finish the game" first. I have a few questions though, about how stuff works around in the game that I either haven't found on the wiki or im just been stupidly unsure about.
1*- How does skill potential work? And even more confusing to me, Attribute Potential?
My current understanding is that skill potential is learning rate, that resets (to %100 maybe idk?) when ever your character levels that skill. If that's how it works, is it worth spending pp to get a skill to %400 if its going to reset anyway? This is when taking like a skill of 10 to 15 or something like that.
Secondly, Attribute potential? I have 0 idea about how this works. When I start a new game, they're all superb or good. After a while of playing they slowly degrade, but there's no like trainer that will set them back up. How do you get those to go back up?
2*- Surviving mages in dungeons | How to grind resistances?
Me and my friends are playing on Loss. Currently we go dwarf (I like golem, we found out fairy mage ISNT noob friendly) warrior and we always find ourselves dying to magic/mages in level 1 dungeons when we're at like level 8-10. How do you build up magic resistance? Do you just hope you get good RNG gear when looting dungeons? There's no player enchanting in the game I've noticed so idk how to get things like that. :( And for us, if dungeons are too dangerous how do we grind out good gear? Currently we spam harvest quests in yowyn for PP and GP, which we turn into learning skills and buying equipment or saving for a farm deed to plant the herb crops.
3*- Ranged weapons in hand slot?
My friend was wondering about this, and i am too. We noticed you can put ranged weapons like grenades pistols bows etc, in hand slots. Does this allow you to duel wield range weapons? Say i had a dagger in one hand, pistol in the other and pistol in shoot, would that work like that or no?
4*- How to grind main attributes?
How do you grind thing's like con, strength, charisma, etc? I'm currently assuming that these are based on the skills each represent. Like, if i grow my mining skill, my const will slowly go up based on that skill. So if i wanted the max const, i would have to get every skill under const to the highest it can go?
5*- How do you guys organize your houses/do storage | Wtf is a dungeon deed?
To my understanding, there's no containers/chests to put thing's in. But nothing at your house despawns? So currently i just drop things in piles like "Ok, scrolls in this pile, books in this pile, weapons in this pile, etcetcetc" Is that how its normally done? I'm so used to putting thing's in chests, having ways to organize loot, etc. Are thing's like storage houses worth it? Why not just store it in the starter house. Also, what is a dungeon deed? You can store more in it then a storage house, and it costs no rent. Surely this is the best house? What's the downside to it?
6*- Elona's pet progression
How's the AI work. I don't understand gene engineering yet because I haven't really got up to that, so when I do ill read up on the wiki. But i mean in like combat, Elona+C has this awesome custom AI feature, where you can teach spells, set up AI patterns, etcetc. Is that ALL elona+C? Is there no way i can say, stat my slave towards been a paladin, or teach my mage healing spells, etc?
7*- How important is joining a guild?
We always go some form of warrioclaymore, so how important is joining the fighters guild? Are the thing's like cheaper item identification global? Are the guild quests hard/worth? I know the item you get for reaching the top guild rank or whatever is really cool.
8*- Is crafting viable early game? Can you become a blacksmith?
I know you can start shops and stuff, and i had the cute idea of setting up a blacksmith one day. But crafting somewhat confuses me. You can only get materials by going to dungeons/spots on world map, and materials are completely RNG to my understanding. So is thing's like no longer relying on potion stores and crafting them yourself viable? Am i just not grinding enough materials?
And regarding the blacksmith, i didn't really see anyway to craft weapons, or heavy armor. When i used the tailor bench or w/e i could only craft robes and such.
9*- Misc questions that are too small for a main question.
What does the training machine in the shelter actually train? Skill books VS actually grinding (like a book of tactics vs actually training it) Casino worth? Elochat broken? Best crops for early game farm? Do building locations mattebest building locations? (like deeds) Do town NPC's respawn? (slave master in derhpy got voted out for been a werewolf and i can't buy slaves now) Bandit/criminal playthrough possible? Claymore is a 2 handed weapon, yet i can use a shield with it, How's that work? Drinking, is there no like water option or something, cause shop keeps only have like 3 cups of tea or w/e?
Oh, and 2k fullscreen possible? I edited the config file but it seems like the height was hardlocked at 868 or something, and wouldn't cover the entire screen.
And lastly, are there any active elona+ discord communities, or any other active elona+ groups other then this, the wiki and /jp/? Jw!

An Excellent comprehensive PHD Research on Discrimination Against Men in Finland (applicable elsewhere of course). See This post for summary

https://becauseits2015.wordpress.com/2017/10/22/comprehensive-research-on-discrimination-against-men-in-finland/
